Eleanor Imes/Iams there c. 1830. Children: Lydia, Maria, Lucinda, William, Elizabeth

We lost an uncle. He just disapeared prabably around 1916. His name was William
Eugene Hurlburt Jr. born 23 of Mar 1873 in Danbury, Fairfield, CT. His parents were
William E. and Nettie (Nora) Coleman Hurlburt. He had been a shop keeper/butcher who
was kind and generous to a fault giving out more credit than he could afford. The family
felt he left because of impending bankruptcy. Any information on him would be
appreciated.

Aaron Hurlburt born apx 1776 parents unknown. Married Polly Ambler apx 1801 Danbury
Ct. Died 8 Dec 1829. Had 3 Children: (1)Stephen Ambler Hurlburt b. 1802. m. Sarah
Peete (2) Louisa Maria b. 1805 and (3) Delia b. 1812. Any information about Aaron or the
children would be appreciated. There are indications of ties with family in NY. Aaron may
be the the Private Muscian listed in the records of the war of 1812 as a muscian c. 1814.
He may also have married a 2nd
time to a Laura L. Smith of Woodbury CT.

We have the forename Azubah in our family, and can trace it back to Azubah Turner, at
which point we have no forebears. Azubah Turner married Joseph Deming (1769-1815),
who was from Wethersfield, Conn. It seems logical to infer that she was the offspring of
Azubah Hurlburt and Hezekiah Turner, who were married in Wethersfield on January 26,
1769 and are listed in the Hurlburt genealogy page here. But records show only one
offspring of that marriage, Stephen
Turner, baptized December 31, 1769 at Wethersfield.

Looking for detail information about Thomas Edward Hurlburt born 25 Feb 1842 in Canaan, Ct. He had
three known children Mary b. abt 1872, Eugene Porter b. 9 Oct 1873, and Richard b. abt 1876. Eugene
was my grandfather and I am trying to find family information about him. My records get real sparce at the
